Content and translation

A topic map, not a list of article ideas

Most content plans start with a brainstorm producing twenty headlines that look good, then get published and read by nobody. A plan that works starts from existing demand: what people actually search for, which page of yours should answer it, and what order builds the site's authority.

Method

How we build a content plan

From keyword research to measured impact.

Research and planning

  • Independent Arabic and English keyword research
  • Grouping terms into topic clusters
  • Tying every cluster to one specific page
  • Identifying the intent behind each cluster
  • Sequencing the work by impact against effort

Writing and measurement

  • A direct, quotable answer in the first paragraph
  • A heading structure covering the sub-questions
  • Internal links that build topical depth
  • Updating older content instead of repeating it
  • Measuring each page's ranking and revising

Cannibalisation

Two pages targeting one term weaken each other

The quietest problem on sites that publish regularly is keyword cannibalisation: five articles written across two years all targeting the same question, so ranking splits between them and none reaches the top. The fix is usually merging, redirecting and deleting, not writing a sixth.

What we do with accumulated content

Inventory the pages targeting the same question
Merge the strongest into one reference page
Redirect the weak ones to it rather than deleting
Update outdated dates and figures
Remove what earns neither traffic nor links
Measure rankings a month after merging

Measurement

How we know the plan is working

Three indicators, and none is article count.

Phrases ranking

How many phrases entered the first three pages, a sharper read than watching one keyword’s position.

Your share of demand

Your portion of total search in your field, showing growth against the market rather than against last month.

Content that converts

Which page preceded an actual WhatsApp message, which is in the end the only measure that any of this is judged by.

Questions

About SEO content

How long should an article be?
Long enough to answer the question, then it stops. Padding to reach two thousand words hurts it, and a short piece that answers directly often outranks a longer one.
Does repeating the keyword help?
No, and it can hurt. Search engines understand the topic rather than counting repetitions, and text stuffed with keywords makes a human reader leave immediately.
How does content surface in AI answers?
Through self-contained quotable paragraphs, a direct answer at the start, and structured data. We cover that in detail on the AI search visibility page.
