Getting named in the answer itself

A growing share of questions never reaches a results page. Someone asks an AI model and takes a direct answer citing a handful of sources. If your site is not one of them, you are absent from the decision entirely.

Three differences

Why this is not just SEO again

Three differences that change how you build.

Citation, not ranking

There is no first place. The model either quotes your paragraph or it does not. So we write self-contained paragraphs that stand up without the rest of the page.

No JavaScript execution

Most AI crawlers do not run JavaScript. Anything that appears after load does not exist for them, and that forces a different way of building.

Clarity and attribution

Models favour direct, specific sources. A figure, a date and an explicit definition get quoted far more than a general marketing paragraph.

The difference in practice

Ranking is one thing, being named is another

A results page gives you a position and a visitor. An AI answer gives you a mention inside the decision itself, or it gives you nothing. The two need different builds.

What we implement

The actual work on the site

Items that get built and reviewed, not theory.

Structure and access

  • All content in HTML with no JavaScript
  • An llms.txt file describing the site to models
  • AI crawlers explicitly allowed to fetch
  • Accurate structured data on every page type
  • Internal links tying a topic to its sources

Content structure

  • A direct answer in the first paragraph
  • Headings written as questions people ask
  • Short self-contained quotable paragraphs
  • Explicit figures, dates and sources
  • FAQ pages with proper structured markup

Measurement

How we know whether it actually worked

Visibility inside AI answers does not show up in classic search reports, so measuring it needs a different method. We build a list of real questions your customers ask, test them monthly against the major models in Arabic and English, and record when you were named and how you were described.

What the monthly report contains

The questions tested this month
Which models named your site, and when
The quoted text exactly as it appeared
Competitors named in your place
The pages the quotes were drawn from
The next step, ordered by priority

AEO questions

What people ask about AI visibility

Does this replace classic SEO?
No, it builds on it. Models lean heavily on sources that already surface in search, so the technical foundation and good content remain prerequisites. The difference is how you build and write on top of that foundation.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will mention us?
Nobody can guarantee that, and the models change constantly. What we guarantee is that your site meets everything known about how sources get selected, and that we measure the outcome monthly and adjust accordingly.
Is this useful for Arabic or only English?
For both, and the opening in Arabic is clearer because there is far less competition. The number of Arabic sites structured for this is still small compared with English.
Does this not lose us traffic to the model?
Some simple questions do get answered without a visit. But being named builds trust, and questions that precede a commercial decision usually end with a visit to the site that was cited.
